About Us
Crossway is a biblical, evangelical and reformed church started in January 2024. While we are young in age and small in size, we have big dreams and great love for Hong Kong (and beyond) because we serve a great and marvelous God.
For those who are not so familiar with the Bible and the Christian faith, here is a concise summary of what we believe:

What We Believe
At Crossway Christian Church, we believe first and foremost that the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments of the Holy Bible are the authoritative, inspired, inerrant and infallible word of God. The Apostle Paul writes in 2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
As such, we desire to be a church that lives in light of the teaching of Scripture in all we do. As we read and study God’s Word, we are convinced that the Westminster Confession of Faith and its Larger & Shorter Catechisms are one of the best human expressions of the system of doctrine contained in Scripture. While the Westminster Standards are not inerrant or infallible and is subservient to the authority of the Bible, they make known to us the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus and cause our hearts to bow before the Crucified Savior in worship.

Our Pastor
Rev. Kin Lam
Rev. Kin Lam grew up in Hong Kong and became a Christian while he was a teenager. After secondary school, he went to the US for college and graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), majoring in Management Science. He received God’s call for ministry while in college, and after a brief professional career in Singapore, he returned to the US to attend Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA, completing his Master of Religion in 1998 and Master of Theology in 2002.
Pastor Lam is a minister of the Presbyterian Church of America (PCA), having been ordained by the Philadelphia Presbytery in 2005. He served as a pastor and church planter in the Philadelphia area for over 15 years before returning to Hong Kong in 2015. He is married to Kathy and they have three children. Pastor Lam was a chaplain at the China Graduate School of Theology from 2015 to 2017 before returning to the pastorate. He was on the pastoral team of China Congregational Church from 2018 to early 2024.
In 2024, Pastor Lam led a group of brothers and sisters to start Crossway Christian Church.
